Hi all,

Newbie here,
Im a Newbie Gold Qantas FF, And am looking for flights between Melbourne and Munich particuarly on the dates of leaving April 28, afternoon (around 2.00pm) and arriving in Munich in the morning of the 29th.

Then leaving Munich on the 3rd of May and arriving in Melbourne on the night of May the 4th.

Qantas itself doesn't offer both flights i need however British airways/Cathay pacific do offer a flight to Munich within the timeframe i desire, and Qantas offers a flight back within the timeframe i desire.

However my dilemma is there is no way to book both of these tickets under the same "house" per say...

And i would prefer OW as i am able to keep gaining some SC and FF points.

(Booking in Eco)

Appreciate anyones input.

Hi Christanil, are you wedded to those carriers? You can book with finnair for about $1700 rtn, departing Mel at 1420 (on cx metal) arriving in munich at 0930 the next morning and then a departure at 1840 on the 3rd arriving in Melb on QF metal at 0620 on 5th. Finnair are OW so you have lounges, points and SC all the way. And helsinki airport is a nice hub to arrive in Europe through. Bootable online. Happy traveling!

Have a look at Qatar Airways. ITA prices them at $1650 for the dates you've provided.Leaving MEL at 10.55 pm (via DOH) gets you into Munich at 1.25pm the next day. Return flights seem to meet your reqts. Nice new 77W/787 planes. Flew QR to Europe a few years back in Y. Roomy seats, plenty of food, good service.
