ONE World Explorer Mach II

Ok so the issues I have with my fare below is the NCE-BCN-NCE leg.

SYD-LAX-SFO-JFK-LHR-MXP//NCE-BCN-NCE//CDG-HKG-SYD

The reason for the NCE-BCN-NCE trip is I have a reservation at El Bulli in Roses, so I need to jet into BCN, Perpignan (PGF) or Girona (GRO). The return destination needs to be NCE, it would be much easier if for me if I could fly from Florence (FLR), Milan (MXP) or Genoa (GOA) to BCN then return to NCE?

Thoughts?

My constant thought is that the routing doesn't have a natural progression. It is not clear to me why there is a need to backtrack. Why return to Nice, why not just go direct from BCN to CDG via MAD.

Or otherwise, flying from italy to BCN via MAD.

The best thing might be to play around with various routings using the on line planning tool. oneworld - Home

I agree Medhead it doesn't, it is due to the restaurant reservation at Elbulli I have and can only get in for that date. I'm only in spain for 2-3days for this reservation and then have to rejoin my party in Nice. I was hoping the One World Explorer fare could cover this.

Hence if I can fly from one of either FLR, MXP or GOA into either BCN, PGF or GRO it would help me immensely. Then from either of BCN, PGF or GRO I could fly into NCE, even better.

Thanks

I've just had a play with the oneworld planner (random dates in October) it shows the following options. I've also checked from TRN as you had that at an earlier stage.

TRN-BCN IB8795 - 14 Oct.
BCN-NCE IB8782 - 16 Oct
MXP-BCN IB5725, 5727, and 5729 all codeshares on VY - 19 Oct
Nothing from Genoa, or florence to BCN.

I don't know if any of this helps, but I hope it helps.
