Today One Mile At A Time had a discussion on the value of miles (points in our language).
Now if we pass on toasters and vouchers and concentrate on the nicest seats what have you found recently?
We found SQ Suites and BA refurbed 747 between London and Los Angeles in First.

QF First SYD-HKG using AA miles.

I don't quite understand the question. What value do I place on those miles? I am having great difficulty pressing the 'Book' button as I value the miles a lot more than the seat?

JohnK the first click for a First ride can be hard but you will never, never know if you never, never go.
Think of it as a treat for yourself.

Now they are suggesting we each apply for a second Citi Executive card to claim a further 100,000 AA miles each for a net $250 US.
I think I have enough cards to manage and living in California part time makes me think this offer is for full timers.
It is of course a way to get 100,000 AA miles at a quarter of a cent per mile which is very attractive.
