Okay here is one for the kids.

If you or your mobile little money pit loves to fly, sign up for Iberias Plus Kids. They get a cute little welcome pack, with the best looking little card, a couple of luggage tags, welcome letter and a beach ball. Plus they get 2500 avios which Mum or Dad can transfer to British Airways for the family account, after all we want our kids to share! We opened ours, it took about a month for the account to be set up and the pack posted. I have not transfered the points to BA yet, must do that this week. The kids love the card and have happily popped it into their travel wallets.

Looks great, the kids will love it and I will love sharing their avios.

I am finding avios reasonably easier to acquire so far.

2,500 leftover from bmi Diamond Club
3,000 from a 3 night stay at a Taj Hotel (via bmi) (assuming I ever receive them)
1,500 from e-rewards (via Iberia)
7,000 from Accor (via Iberia)

If you have Accor points, it is significantly better value to transfer them to Iberia than straight to Executive Club. From memory it was 3,000 Accor to 7,000 Iberia avios, compared with 3,000 to 1,500 to Executive Club.
