Onboard WiFi internet on international flights

So I've recently started flying the transpacific routes again, after a while confined to European trips on Etihad codeshares.

I'm guess I'm going to be disappointed by the answer, but have VA caught up with offering inflight internet wifi yet?

It's going to be a slow flight work-wise if not

As a VA Plat doing almost monthly TPAC, UA Inflight Internet + MEL direct to LAX has forced me to shift loyalty from VFF. At least UA status matched to Premier Gold/*G.
