So after reading this SMH article, (Even the most experienced travellers are falling for these online visa scams)
I thought it would be good to have a sticky on the official goverment websites for getting VISAs etc.

Please suggest others and I can add more to the first post

Happy for a mod to take over and add more if thats easier/better?

Egypyt: Egypt e-Visa Portal

I would however strongly recommend getting Visa on Arrival....I applied on above website, and got mine approved but +1s got stuck as "processing" for weeks

Not a Visa as it were, but Malaysia requires this form to be filled out online within three days of arrivel.

Singapore:

You shouldn't be listing digital arrival cards, like the linked Singapore and Malaysia forms, together with travel authority applications for visa wavers (like ESTA or eTA) or actual visas.
It's confusing and misleading.
A travel authority/visa is required to even board the flight. Some are valid for years reguardless of how many entries you might make in that time.
The digital arrival cards are only required once you land and can be filled in at any point from 72 hours before departure to right before you go through immigration. They also need to be updated for each entry.

An airline can deny boarding if you don't have a valid ESTA at check in. They can't deny boarding if you haven't filled in an SGAC - it's just the form they used to give you to fill out in flight.

EK wouldn't let me check in at the desk for my LHR-DXB-SIN flight as I hadn't submitted an SGAC and I didn't want to argue so I had to do it in front of them there and then

Doesn't the smarttraveller.gov.au website already have this information?
Yeah I normally go here to get the official link ..but having it on this page is also useful as a check
