UK also supposed to introduce some sort of ESTA from next year too.

Always best to check the Smart traveller website as has the official advice and links for Aussie passport holders and is up to date.

Tanzania: https://visa.immigration.go.tz/
Make sure your photo and photo of passport are in .png format and less than 300Kb
Your eticket can be in pdf file and must be less than 1 MB

Have all these ready before you apply as it will save a lot of angst! Apparently takes 10 days.
Also they only accept Visa or Mastercard
Cost: USD$50

Apparently there is also VOA.

Perhaps the first post needs a link to smarttraveller as a catch all, or even something like Sherpa (or equivalents)?
