ODU J upgrade for earlier flight?

Just wondering if you are able to change to an earlier flight with carry-on only when upgrading to J using points?

I once changed to an earlier flight and used points to upgrade as only J was available on the earlier flight - is that what you mean? Not sure what would happen if you were already on a points upgrade for your existing flight.

Sort of. I'm on a Red E Deal so technically time changes are not allowed. By doing a points upgrade to J at the QC, will that allow you to get an earlier one? TBH, rather not fly J if I can avoid it.

It can happen but I would not rely on it, especially with the change in lounge staffing which is where the most success has been reported in the past.
