We flew to Auckland for an movie once - just so my husband can say he saw it before a friend of ours.

My husband will be doing a sector run next year. He will be flying 10 sectors in the US alone and will have enough SCs to gift WP but will need VA sector recognition.

Me: Im going to send you to Melbourne or the Gold Cost next year
Him: Why?
Me: You need the sector recognition and are short 2 flights.
Him: ???
Me: What?
Him: I guess I can do something while Im there, go take some photos and have a look around.
Me: No. You get a drink and then get back on the plane and come home!

I think I have mentioned this before in a post but I have flown from BNE-AKL-BNE for a 1 hour business meeting at the Novotel Auckland airport hotel. EK depart BNE around 08.00 arriving into AKL around 13.30. With HLO got me to the hotel in time for a 14.00 meeting. 1 hour meeting and back to the EK lounge, a few drinks to celebrate a good business deal and onto the EK flight back to BNE departing around 17.00 and back to my home by 20.00.

All in a days work
