NZ Gold Elite "Anyone from your Household"

Hi There.

I was given Gold Elite Status recently. +1 also received Full Gold Elite Status. +1 has nominated his brother as his Gold Elite Partner.

I do not wish to waste my Gold Elite Partner nomination.

Is there anyone (Ideally Melbourne based) that I can nominate and who will get good use out of it?

OR.... Is this not the right thing to do?

I wish I could stick my hand up, but with my focus on QF this year it would be a waste. And I don’t particularly like the AirNZ fares to Queenstown, which is probably the only place I’d make use of the membership.

I’m surprised there aren’t a low of new-just-joined members replying to your post, but kudos to you and I hope you find someone worthy of the status.

Will also be interesting to see how the partnership with Virgin Blue evolves, as Velocity Gold members, of which a few of us are now, might gain lounge access on AirNZ services anyway, making Gold Elite and Velocity Gold a bit redundant to hold at the same time.

Whoever the recipient is, you would need to fly with NZ to take advantage of the GE partner status.

Unless the field has changed, GE partner status != *G status. Basically you get treated just like a GE on NZ and like a no one on other facets of the Star Alliance.

So far this year flying

BNE>AKL & AKL>CHC>ZQN>CHC>AKL

also BNE>AKL>LAX

Hi.. Is this offer still available and could I still be considered although my base is Perth? After many years of loyalty as a QFF I have now shifted my travels to Air NZ

My travels with AirNZ will be at least once monthly with the most common route being -
* PER-AKL-RAR-LAX-AKL-PER or
* PER-AKL-RAR/PPT-AKL-PER
(PER will be replaced with BNE/SYD/MEL from time to time)

I have already done two PER-AKL-LAX-RAR-AKL-PER since October and doing PER-AKL-RAR-AKL-PER on the 23 Jan.

I wish I had considered Air NZ a along time ago!!

If this is no longer on offer, thank you in advance and I am still glad to NOW be a part of this very rewarding airline. I can see why you've reached GE level with this wonderful carrier as I was sold after just 2 flights and am still very much impressed.

On my BP it's printed *G, I have a GE card... will i get treated badly when I do other *A?

Odd... i used the kiosk at the international airport last week... all i got was the *G =( but i did get the GE treatment with the pillow, NC headies etc...

Sorry, I meant Domestic NZ - and maybe that's not even correct.
