Not ready to redeem yet?

Over the past 3 days I've had 3 emails from Virgin titled "not ready to redeem yet?" with an option to set a reminder to redeem and an ad showing what points can be redeemed for.

I have zero desire to redeem anything in the near future and these emails do nothing other than piss me off. Has anyone else been getting them too?
 
I’ve also received three of the these emails in the last few days. One could be forgiven for thinking that they want us to redeem some points...
 
Yep, sent them an email. Must be a new analyst who has created the list and forgotten to wash out people who have already received the email....
 
And yet, for those wishing to do so - the actual opportunity to redeem is often non-existent. Long haul points+pay availability has gone the way of the dodo.
 
Yeah I’ve been getting them. But I don’t plan to redeem until 500k plus when I can best bangs through two business class returns to Europe. I’ve done this before and am over halfway there now. International business class redemptions are the nuts.

I'm getting them too. Over and over again. They are also irking me. I'm well aware of how many points I have and I'll use them when I see fit.

I wonder if they've developed some kind of automated campaign for people with six figures of points? If they have they should unplug it and through it on the trash pile of bad ideas never to be revisited again.
