Hi All,

I am not a frequent flyer, but the project I am working on at the moment requires some travelling to Malaysia and US. and I also have family vacations booked for Xmas and Easter. However, as you can see below, every flight is with a different airline.

Sydney - KL: Qantas via Singapore. Return: Garuda via Jakarta
Sydney - KL: Malaysia Airlines
Sydney to Los Angeles: Virgin Australia (Premium Economy)
Sydney to Vanuatu: Air Vanuatu - Personal (2 Adults 2 Children)
Sydney to Amsterdam: Emirates via Dubai - Personal (2 Adults 2 Children)

Should I join the frequent programs of each airline? Is it possible to unify all those point so I can save some money in future holidays?

BTW, I don't have a credit card, but the guy from CBA (where we have our home loan) said we could get a Platinum Reward Card with no fee for the life of the loan.

Any tips would be welcome.

Regards,
Roberto.

Join QF and you can credit QF, MH and maybe EK to it (depending if it is a QF codeshare).

Join VA for the VA flight.

I think the CBA card earns 1/2 QF point per $. There are certainly better cards out there.

Thank you for replying.

Ok joined Qantas (myself, wife and 2 kids). I will email the travel angency the FF number.

I bought Emirates tickets directly on their website, so EK flight numbers. Can I still get Qantas FF points?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You may earn QF points on the EK fares, but not Status Credits if it is an EK flight number.

If the family are all going on the SYD-LAX make sure everyone has a VFF account and family pool the points and SCs to one adult to perhaps gain status as well.

I'm not sure now, but Air Vanuatu used to code share with QF as well.
