No not a QC, a virgin lounge. (and perhaps a comment about me being over the VA hotdogs)

For the record, I thought this thread should be multi-airline but I couldn't find a suitable place for posting updates and such. (note the final comment in the OP. Hence starting it in the QF section. Perhaps someone can suggest a better place for the thread to make it multi airline useable.

Enough of wurst - what would food options would you like to see in the lounge? I'd love to see a noodle bar in Darwin to represent our heritage. Laksa is our specialty here. It might be a bit messy, but if laid out correctly, table tables and bar stools for a bite to eat, and a lounge later.

BA "F" lounge at T5 has some interesting homely food:

- Baked potatoes. They also have chilli con carne and cheese to spice things up a little ... but no sour cream.
- And of course scones (in the afternoon at least). Scones, Jam and clotted cream is one of lifes little pleasures, especially when served with champagne!

Scones, jam and clotted cream in the Hilton London Olympia Exec Lounge a few weeks ago were delicious!

I had no issues with it..... we were on the 7th floor I think. Not sure if it was an Exec Room or not but size was fine and bathroom was nice and modern.

Cholesterol gets checked regularly thanks to the drugs I am taking.

It is about as good as it gets for a 49 year old with health issues. Just think that a few years ago I was taking medicine for cholesterol and have managed to turn it around.

Oh, and I eat as many eggs as I want, not as many eggs as someone who does not know me thinks I should be eating.
