We are looking to go to Noosa end of May for 1 week for a holiday / work conference.

What would be better - Racv Noosa or Peppers? We will be with our 3.5 year old and planning to say in a 2 bedroom apartment or villa. I did see the Racv 3 bedroom vila has a plunge pool - making it easy for the 3.5 yr old to have some fun in the water?

Peppers is walking distance to Hastings St , Noosa Main Beach, shops and cafes but it’s a bit of a steep hill. RACV is out of the main area but they run a shuttle bus.

I’ve lived in Noosa for 40 years and from a location perspective would prefer Peppers. Haven’t stayed in either so not sure which has better accommodation.

Where is the conference?

Peppers is a comfortable resort and have a regular shuttle down to Hastings street.

I was very interested in peppers but reading the latest reviews has put me off. Dirty rooms / cleaning is not very good. Poor management and staff interactions ect..
the replies to comments on trip advisor is a bit adversarial.
Never had a problem in two stays. Staff were efficient and polite, rooms were clean, although sometimes cleaning was late but no other issues.

Suggest that being a holiday resort they probably use backpacker cleaners who will vary in quality. Last visit on a Sunday for three days, our room was 45m late in cleaning when we arrived and we had to wait for a supervisor to inspect and sign off the room.

YMMV.

IMHO TA these days is not what it used to be and mainly for whingers and offended "influencers".

I did a conference two years ago and my experience was echoed in many TripAdvisor reports, poor room cleaning, not to mention poor construction re soundproofing as I think I heard every drunk returning from a mid week bender. Food was underwhelming to say the least. It was mean to be a two night stay but I ended heading home for the second night and returning the following morning so I could get a decent sleep. I live on the coast.
