A mate is flying to Europe in August and has no airline affiliation that would get him lounge entry. Does anyone have experience of buying entry into the non-airline affiliated lounges at SIN or CDG? There's a website called gosimply.com that sells such entry and they appear to be legit but thought I'd ask. Thanks

And gosimply.com has nothing at CDG.

Consider there the might be 4 lounge visits just in the one trip, so a Standard Plus Membership might be the way to go and there are 6 visits left for the rest of the year (USD 249.00 for 10 lounge accesses). Note that lounges in Australia are very limited.

Thanks guys. Two people are travelling so I'll find out if the ten visits can be split between two.

I use prioritypass fairly regularly and yes, it works. But in my experience- don't expect too much! The airline affiliated lounges are almost always much better than whatever they offer you. This view is based pretty much exclusively on experiences in Europe and Asia so can't really say anything about other parts of the world.

The value of the lounge is dependent on the time stuck in an airport , how much you appreciate a beverage (or three) and the possibility of a free internet connection (not guaranteed )..forget the food unless you're starving. The quality usually varies airport to airport..the newer the airport the better the lounge..generally...a little research will indicate whether it's cheaper to buy a drink, log on to free wifi and spend 30 minutes in the general public areas.

I can only advise on Singapore Airport - Transit Lounge - Harilela Hospitality - SGD$35 per adult.
