It was a woman and it wasn't rude at all. I guess you're missing the context.
Maybe I didn’t understand your comment properly, my apologies. A flight attendant telling me he or she wasn’t a bad tender sounded plain lazy to me but it seems it wasn’t the sentiment here.

I booked a hotel through Qantas hotels. Dutifully paid when I made the booking. Arrived hotel yesterday and had to pay again as the Qantas payment wouldn't go through. Apparently the problem was that the Qantas Mastercard had expired.
Perhaps this was the real problem with supplying spirits? The Dan Murphys Mastercard had expired and it took the Qantas IT gurus a while to work out the problem!
