Warbirds Downunder 2026 cancelled as Temora shifts to showcase format - Australian Flying

The Temora Aviation Museum has confirmed that Warbirds Downunder will not proceed in 2026, with the organisation instead moving to a series of smaller showcase events next year.

I guess that's the last we'll see of the Meteor, Vampire and Canberra flying.

The flying club doesn’t have the deep pockets Westfield provided with the founding owner.

Probably not. I always wondered about the RAAF involvement a couple of years ago. It didn't strike me as something that was likely to last. I guess HARS is the only other group capable of operating the entire collection, though their plate is pretty full these days.
