Toooooo troublesome to move, ie, show passport for id, seeing what happened with Optus.
The passport I used to show for this Telstra service was prior to 2020, when I had my latest passport renewed, (Aus one).
So, have to log into Telstra account each time.
Meaning 2fa 6 digit code to my 2nd phone... time consuming.
My main Optus Samsung S21 will not do photos, ie, no mms, and in my job, I need to send my supervisor pix when the kids do stupid things at the school I clean, as proof of why it would take so long to clean a certain zone.
This Huawei P40 lite takes images, and does send mms very well, ...

(((Eg, if the kids decide to do an biro break and smear the table so its blue instead of natural colour, I need to be able to take photo, send to bossman, and then clean off when its students free day, or if I find the time))).OnT.
I also do a lot of things on the road, Aldi mobile might be good for some, but they do charge if you pay with credit card, ...
I dont carry cash anymore, only use card/NFC.

O/T But you can definitely take photos and send messages from a Samsung S21 on Optus network. Camera and mms fully supported since the S2.

Somehow on my Samsung S21, it always comes up with an error, both for outing mms pix and incoming mms pix.
On the outgoing, I have (!) in orange, "couldnt send message".
On ine incoming, I "couldt download".
But my Huawei works well to send and receive mms.
Have followed the ASP suggestions in Optus to try mms, nope.
But anyway, lifes too short to worry about this.
If I was in admin work, probably one prepaid phone will/would do.
Thanks anyway.

Sounds like an APN issue - https://devicehelp.optus.com.au/sam...es-and-email/i-can-t-send-and-receive-mms/47/

I did follow that, and it still wouldnt allow.
Never mind, I have got about 12 more years of working to do, then probably retire.
Will bear with the annual cost of recharging 2 mobiles for then.
And, yes, I am that old!
