I was recently in the BNE Business Lounge and wanted to read a newspaper so I thought I would use the Press Reader app only to find it has been removed. Even the helpful ladies on the service desk didn’t know what has happened. Qantas seem to like removing services without telling anyone.

I’m sure I have used it in the last 6 months. I know Alan Joyce disliked an AFR article about him.
This may have been the reason but wouldn’t have been through Press Reader::

And from 1 August 2022, passengers connecting to Qantas’ free lounge and onboard Wi-Fi will enjoy complimentary access to content on The Australianand The Australian Financial Review, which both usually lock premium content behind a paywall.
