Just like to know if JQi has stopped giving out bottle water? A friend has just gone to Japan and he told me that JQ don’t offer bottle water anymore. When asked he was told that there is water fountain near the bathrooms. On the times I have flew with JQi always got a bottle of water. So just wondering if this is a new round of cost saving.Oh one more thing dont take cash anymore either.

If l remember correctly, you get a bottle on your seat when you first board, then it's $$ after that.

C'mon, JQ are a LCC first off!
DJ don't even offer a water fountain or free cups of water for passengers.
Full service carriers and other LCCs around the world only accept CC too.

Still unsure if they offer this anymore though?

What is the issue here with JQI - that the bottled water is not offered at all or it's still offered but you need to pay for it now?

There was another thread on AFF saying DJ told pax not to drink water out of the fountain as it wasn't safe but preferred to sell pax bottled water instead.

Funny how water fountain consumption for DJ is not safe but on JQ it is.

You used to get a free bottle of water which was placed on your seat. After that it was pay for another bottle or refill it using the fountain.

I recently flew to Bali and there was no free bottle of water either, so it appears to have stopped.
