Night wasted. On phone with VA for another hour and EY for 90mins

With the phone in one ear and typing with another, it has been a complete waste of a beautiful evening tonight with the hassle that is VA and also EY.

In a nutshell. My status credits and points still not showing properly after the Sabre changeover, this in spite probably 10 hours in total on the phone and numerous emails and calls from them telling me everything with my account would be fixed. Another day, another call with another promise of I'll make this a priority.

Then I needed to call EY to book Etihad limo service for upcoming sectors. I could not do online because of the change with the systems, it wouldn't accept any type of numbers. And that's where the problems have grown.

Due to both Sabre changes with VA and EY any PNR's or E ticket numbers are completely different for reward bookings (or in fact any type of bookings) when they were using Amadeus. This has led to them not being able to find the reservations, then finding them, then trying to work out how many sectors I was entitled to limo use. An absolute debarcle and frustrating process.
On top of this, initially they told me I wasn't entitled to a limo for any sector as my tickets were issued by Air Berlin!!! WT???!!!

After trying about 5 different numbers including what was on My booking in Velocity, The email ticket summary and using Virtually there...every number was different throughout.
Limos now booked (but they'll call 24 hours before, which in itself was a hassle trying to explain the address of a call centre of the Emirates Palace and where Changi airport was)

Oh and now I've reached the 1 hour 45 min stage trying to pick my seats, as according to the EY seating arrangement via the phone...myself and Mr Mella have been placed one row behind each other. Absolutely ridiculous. How can 2 people with the same surname on the same itinerary/ticket be automatically placed that way??? And the call centre rep keeps telling me the system won't allow him to change it.

Ridiculous. Annoyed. P'd off. There are no words
