Lovely 12 year old barossa shiraz. Opened up lovely after a few hours in the decanter. Stewed dark fruits and oak all mixed in well togther. Delicious with our dry aged steak. Made for a special friday night dinner with family.

Pretty pleased I boomed on a dozen of these when they were offered at a good price a few years back.

I’ve been patient and it’s drinking beautifully.

Don’t know much about this wine apart from the fact that it’s bloody delicious! Got two bottles on clearance at Dan’s upon recommendation by a mate who works there. If I had known how good it is I would’ve got more.

I think latest release is $150 but when it comes to Aussie wines, particularly from SA I learnt the RRP is often inflated for export purposes so price is not necessarily a reliable indicator for quality. At least in this case it does seem to be accurate.

Great wine! These were $29.88 p/b in the Great Dan's Clearance of Nov 2020. The Gibson Reserve Shiraz 2016 was $14.88 and is also lovely.

Well over $100/bottle at Cellar Door although they may not have the '16

$110 for the Eden 19 current vintage tasted it last weekend in Perth. Gorgeous! And the 18 Barossa current vintage $149. 18 has a good life.

Happened to be in neighbourhood and picked up these Rizza's, no CB, but got em to ~$35.

Shop attendant when asked where I could find them "Who the f$%k buys $90 riesling? Certainly none who comes into this shop..." (were down $50% to $45)
