Thanks all for your help so far navigating this forum.

What I want to do it break the trip part way, come home, then continue next year to work the seasons
I tried starting the trip from some place close like Figi and using Australia (home) as a stop
but that keeps crashing the system (something goes wrong)

So if I start from Australia ( the system likes that better) then do a stop or 2 leaving somewhere like Bali as a 3-4 month stop and coming home on a separate ticket and returning to the journey later via another separate ticket
will that work even though actual visa is shorter?
would one world even consider the visa?
also does it matter how many times I transit Australia as long as I don't use any city more than twice or stop?
Or once I leave Australia then I can not even transit Australia?
the problem with Bali is Jet-star is all over it like black paint and they are not permitted on a OW ticket.

Thanks for all the help
