The Indonesian Government has announced that with effect from 1st July 2010, travellers from the list of countries which are eligible for Visa-On-Arrival (VOA) facility for Indonesia will be eligible to purchase a 7-day VOA chargeable at US$10 per person, upon arrival at the Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal in Bintan Resorts, subject to the following conditions:

-Travellers must be sponsored by an agent (ie, hotels and resorts, golf course operators or travel agents based in Bintan, Batam, and Karimun SEZ).
-Minimum four persons travelling together and they must arrive at and depart from Bintan Resorts at the same time.
- Travellers must hold passport with a minimum of six months validity.
- The 7-day VOA is only applicable to visitors travelling for leisure activities, conferences, exhibitions, and national / regional / international / governmental seminars.
- The fee of US$10 per person is to be paid upon arrival at the Immigration Checkpoint at BBT Ferry Terminal.
- There is strictly no extension of the 7-day VOA and it supersedes all other Indonesian visas that a person may be holding.

Application Procedure
- Application for the 7-day VOA must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance, through sponsoring agents.
- Each application form must comprise the passport details of all applicants (ie, name, nationality, passport number and passport expiry).
- Sponsoring agents are to submit four copies of each application to the Immigration Department at BBT Ferry Terminal.
- Upon approval, a stamped acknowledgement will be returned to the sponsoring agents, as well as sent to the Arrival / Departure Counter at the Immigration Checkpoint at BBT Ferry Terminal. Travellers need not carry a copy of the acknowledgement.
For a smooth VOA application process, visitors are advised to bring with them the exact amount in US$ for payment of fees and to have on hand, the following documents:
- Passport with a minimum of six months' validity
- Fully completed Arrival / Departure Card
- Return or onward journey ticket

The Indonesian Government has also announced that Turkey has been added to the list of countries that are granted VOA facility.

Presume Bintan was losing out on tourists, so they've made these changes. Seems pretty onerous in requirements.

Not sure it's clear in the description - is this a single-entry visa, or multi-entry ?
