New traveller wanting information

Hi, my mother who will be 75 in March is going overseas for only the 2nd time. this time by herself. The first time was 20 years ago with my father.

She is travelling to israel , europe (15 day amsterdam - budapest rheine cruise) and a 12 day scandanavian tour which begins in bergen
One of my questions is this.

1. is there a checklist or a list somewhere or a forum that can tell her what she needs to do at the airport, ie she will have 5-6 hours at various airports. At the moment i am telling her that she needs to make sure she books her seat at each stop, she finds the gate etc. but if there was list somewhere where it states these are things you need to do whilst in transit at singapore or at frankfort, it might help.

she has never used an atm, she will have euros on her and a the wizard advantage credit card with aussie dollars in , should i get her a cash passport to put in euros or danish money? or just leave it with the 340 euros and the credit card?

re stop overs going to europe is ok. she wuld have problems if she was going to malaysia or some other countries.
