Mods, not sure if this goes here but it will do to start.

Found this today:
RTW Fares Comparison

The creator has put in all the fares he can find for RTW plus Circle Asia and presents it on a Google map that gives departure location prices.

The only issue is that it lacks a basic fare description for what it returns. Also, the cheapest price it notes may not be for RTW but only a Circle Asia. Eg. What is a DAS13?

The tool is worth a play as it does help get a feel for where the cheap places are.

The AONE fares from Seychelles look really good, but is that even possible to book?

SEZ was about the first thing I looked at. The price seems to be a hangover from the days when BA flew there hence the very low price.

At the moment no Oneworld operator flies to SEZ.

Reports on Flyertalk are the the party ex-KRT (Sudan) is over with prices going through the roof in the last 15 hours. Prior to this it was significantly cheaper to get a DONE4 ex-KRT than a LONE4 ex-Australia.

Indeed FT reports most of the Mid-East has gone up substantially, albeit maybe just AONEs.

Reported that Gala Travel (a Canadian agent) had ticketed over 100 ex-KRT AONEs in the last few months (using the Canadian exception)

Not disputing this at all, but Expert Flyer is showing 2694.00(AUD) as the DONE4 price ex-KRT right now (I think this is roughly what is was a few weeks ago?). Maybe EF has not caught up to reality or something like that. I was aware of how cheap KRT was for xONEx, but TBH probably a little too much much effort/risk for my liking.

More bad news.

Following a thread in the oneworld forum on Flyertalk that suggested there'd been a recent increase to the xONEx product, I phoned Qantas.

And it's confirmed.

There was an apparently market-wide increase on 1 June.

Whereas previously a DONE4, for example, ex-JNB was ZAR48000, it has gone up more than 20% to ZAR58900 (~AUD1150).

I'm bummed.

Yet qantas website is advertising 10% discount on OW products.

I believe to get the 10% discount it needs to be ticketed by Qantas(081-) , so the fuel fines would negate any advantage over booking though A or LA.

Seems the website is down, but I'm interested in:

cheapest DONE4/AONE4 pricing
Circle Pacific and Circle Asia fares in J/F

Anyone remember what it was showing?

Looks like the entire list is down and not going to come back.
Does anyone have another resource for these RTW/Circle Pacific etc base fares?

In another thread someone posted a link to a PDF hosted on Home - AirTickets - looks like that site is private and unavailable to the public for publishing base fares like the WANDR site used to....

What do you mean private/unavailable to public ?
Seems to work ok for me

In any event its a March 2012 document so expect the fares are very dated.

I'm referring to all RTW-type fares, not just Circle Pacific.. ie xONEx in all classes and from various regions.
The site in post 1 was a great one - had almost everything.

As moa999 said, it's likely to have changed in the ~18 months since it was released.

I agree on both counts. The site in post one was a beauty and that flight prices are likely to have changed.
Have a look at FT there isn't an official list but there is some discussion about it.

I think the last I checked (a few months back) ex-JNB was still the best value for A/D-one-X.

I think it depends a bit on how many continents are included. Some parts of Egypt are very good value at the moment.

Always depends on how many continents I think - that's why you have D/A-one-4/5/6

But what did you mean by 'some parts of Egypt' ?
I didn't realise the prices changed within a country ?
Are PER prices different to MEL for example ?
Or just an Egyptian phenomena ?

Cheers

Sorry, I wasn't very clear.

What I meant was a DONE3, for example, might be cheapest in country A but a DONE4 might be more expensive in A and cheaper in country B.

I also think I've given you the wrong information on different prices within a country. The different prices I'm seeing for an itinerary I have on hold (pending QR's arrival) only varies within a country because of the carrier on the first sector. So, no, my information was wrong: as far as I'm aware base prices within a country are the same regardless of which city you start in.

Does anyone have the current base prices for ex-HKG fares:
Circle pacific (all levels of distance) in J/F (D/A class)
Oneworld RTW 4 continent also in J/F (D/A class)?

Thanks!
