New Qantas Double status credits offer (book by 2/9/26; travel 3/9/26 until 14/8/27)

Was having some CC payment issues thanks to Qantas IT last night 🙄
Ended making some CR bookings as well as purchasing gold class movie tickets.
Did come across Mel-Bne-Cns-Bne-Syd for $1582 & 440SC.
Not quite as good as $1598 for Mel-Bne-Cns-Bne-Mel however it does get me back home.

I'm living dangerously and booked... NOTHING... since I've already got DSC trips end of this year within the next membership year... Things will become clearer by Feb/Mar 2027 in terms of work and personal travel plans so Qantas BETTER do another DSC deal lol...

On the other hand, I was overseas without my spreadsheet and couldn't remember how many SCs I needed to requal. So I went into AFF lemming mode and booked three trips.

Get back and spreadsheet tells me I already had enough DSC flights from last time to requal. 🤦‍♂️ At least they're not pure DSC runs.

Cheers skip

They all count towards LTP…🙄

Hi all. I'm hoping someone might be able to DM me to solidify my existing knowledge of the movie ticket and voucher strategy.

I did purchase a few Gold Class movie-tickets-for-later-use yesterday, for me and my fellow movie-viewer. However, I only booked us tickets TO the movie and not a return movie ticket. Wondering if this was the right or wrong strategy when it comes to changing movies down the track and wanting a return movie ticket on the same ticket number.

Cheers..

Welcome @zerchbeeef
I've found @RooFlyer to be helpful on this topic in the past. 😉

I have previously purchased a movie voucher but this time bought a flexible movie ticket. I'm not really sure why, just felt like trying something different this time around I suppose.

I can see a way to easily change the date of my screening online, but I don't appear to be able to change the cinema location or add additional or alternate screenings? Do these require a phone call to the box office?

No, you should be able to use the online ticketing portal to change your preferred cinema. But you may need to cancel your initial viewing first (assuming you hadn't already done so). Just make sure they issue you with a credit for a future viewing. If all else fails, the box office can likely sort it for you, but realistically it's easily done via self-service.

Will DM. Maybe there can be a whip round my correspondents to send me somewhere - weekend in the Barossa maybe 🤣
Perhaps part if the advice should involve booking everyone a meetup flight:)
