Can I earn DSC on flights originating from int'l ports? = Absolutely! There's no restriction on flights to, from or within Australia (provided you meet all the other relevant criteria).

The one caveat on this is that for a double feature booked with movie tickets, the first screening must be in a cinema located in Australia.
However the second screening can be anywhere,

I don't think so ... when the ticket is issued, the type of person who will be viewing the movie will be recorded and cannot be changed ... happy to be corrected if my understanding is incorrect.

Brunch - at $200 per person - where they serve Brut champagne - which I dislike intensely.

Specific - yes, agreed .... However, can the type of viewer change? as in if you had bought a kids ticket, can you take an adult in the kids place?

One additional note: if the movie tickets were bought as part of the QBR bonus popcorn offer, then I would make sure all potential movie-goers were registered in the relevant QBR account.

You can cancel for a voucher and rebook whatever you like for whoever you like, as long as the reference number remains the same.
