I've just bought the Huawei NXT-L29, 64G phone and I'm up to the stage of transferring my music. My question is, how do I put my iTunes tracks onto the Android?
Most iTunes songs these days aren't do not have DRM. You wont be able to take them off your phone as the transfer was never meant to work that way. I believe you need to download iTunes to your computer and request of them a re-download of all your previously purchased content - because you've lost a device or something. You then take those AAC-non-DRM tracks and add them to your new phone.
You'll only be able to transfer files ending in the extension "m4a". Tracks ending with the extension "m4p" have DRM file protection so they can't be "illegally shared" and have only ever been able to work with Apple devices, save for a few hacks along the way.
Even the tracks with DRM can be converted to MP3 format through iTunes, and then copied across to your new phone.
Congratulations on your awakening from the Apple mass-hypnosis!
