I am new to AFF but hoping to enjoy using
my query relates to using AAdvantage miles ( bought when you get bonus miles) to use to book flights Australia to Europe . Is this a good option to get business class flights ?

Thankyou Hvr
i haven't tried buying miles and using them to book business class flights before but the current promotion of an extra 60000 bonus miles when you buy 100000 looks ok -as long as I can use them

If you're currently an AA member then this promotion is great. Basically you can get a return trip to Europe in F. Yes you need to plan well ahead and be a bit flexible but the work is worth it.

I've just returned from London travelling both ways in F, it cannot be beaten as a way to travel.

note that you can search availability and then hold the fair for 48 hours (I think), before purchasing the miles :)

Welcome Mary.

Yes AA points are excellent for J/F travel, booking way ahead is best bet and finding flights available on the likes of BA & JL before calling AA even better.

AFF have dedicated AA forum here, so ask away.

Yes my husband and I aremembers ( although no current points) I presume we could both buy the points and 160000 would be enough to get to Europe ? Found it hard to actually check how many miles / points needed to get PERTH to Paris or uk

Another "welcome aboard" from me - Mary Carol Kelly!
