As indicated on Routes Online, in July, EK will be launching a 4x weekly 77W service to the Portuguese city of Porto. Nice place to visit, home of Port wine.

EK197 DXB0915 – 1430OPO 77W x135
EK198 OPO1735 – 0415+1DXB 77W x135

Interesting addition to the network, having largely exhausted the large cities in Europe they are now heading to smaller, but popular, cities.

Was a very easy airport when we were there. Arrived on LH & walked out of the airport a short way & caught an easy metro ride into the city

Wonderful airport, agreed. Great connections in to the city. Portugal is a fabulous country to visit.

Yes we did likewise after arriving on SN. But that was a 150 seat intra-Schengen flight. Very easy.

But, EK will have 350+ passengers with immigration. The airport does already have widebodies arriving from the Americas, so should be used to it.

Good initiative - many travellers would like to start their trip in LIS and leave from OPO, or vice versa.

Can only agree with the above comments. Great city and convenient to get to/from the airport there. I would seriously consider using this flight if flying EK to Europe.
