New Economy Headrests being rolled out

Emirates are installing new headrests in their A350 fleet as well as 6 of the A380s called the Udream, in conjunction with Safran. As someone who struggles to sleep airborne regardless of equipment, I doubt they will help me!

I'm sure I recall BA having something similar to that 20+ years ago?
They did! And I was just thinking the same!

The BA model had independent blocks that you could pull forward. They are by far the most comfortable headrests ever! You could actually rest your head properly on the sides.

I rarely get any sleep on a plane unless a flatbed.

Those headrests look interesting though. Might avert the stiff neck from leaning at a funny angle on the window pane.
