I was very surprised last night to see that Jetstar is now serving spirits from mini bottles. Previously they only had premix cans (and only three varieties from memory).

I think we are now at the point where the F&B service on JQ has surpassed Qantas. Sure, you have to pay for it, but with a bundle you get a $10-15 credit. And with the offerings on Qantas lately many people would prefer to pay for something better.

When I was speaking with the JQ FA, she did say she was concerned about pax behavior (which is why I believe QF stopped serving spirits in Y). I don’t buy the argument when you can get a red wine with 2.0 standard drinks.

That sounds promising, especially if they are ditching the terrible premix drinks in favour of the mini bottles. Thumbs up to JQ if this continues.
