Is it just me, or is that part of the web site really dodgy? That part / function of the web site doesn't refresh property when I switch card, so I would end up looking at offers for another card when switching cards.

Similar situation - except my nearest Harris Farm is about 200km away.

What is the method people use to add offers? As in do you add all of the offers to your card or only the ones you are interested in?

Do you get put in a naughty corner for a pattern of adding offers and not using them?

I only add what I will use. Those offers often say something like only available to the first 5000 people who click, so other people can have what I don't use

That is what I also do, I only add the ones I need. But I know a friend who adds them all and never uses them... Wish Amex would strip their offers if they do it consistently if they don't already.

But I wonder as to how many people use those offers? I mean those like go to MJ Bale buy a suit for $1000 and get $100 back. How many people go there to buy a suit and how often really?

This is how I learned when my ISP started taking Amex.

It used to be quite competitive, but then the offers were worth competing for. I remember getting up early on Tuesdays to have the best chance to register and had all card numbers inc supps committed to memory. Offers were maxxed out regularly, and there was usually a work-around page to register if you didn't receive an offer.

There was a degree of agro directed at those who saved offers without using them, here and especially on Ozb. I doubt there's any special treatment by Amex for those players.

These days the offers aren't as lucrative and those that are, aren't anywhere near as frequent or in demand. I'd suggest that the decline in quality and quantity of Amex Offers might be related to the so-called cost of living crisis, but discretionary spending is through the roof.

If this is just a classified ad section of the web site, then it's not working. The list is so long, and so many of the offers are just irrelevant for me, that I just scroll down but it's not being processed by my brain, as in my brain is just unable to process so many. It's like the daily e-mail from Shopbacks, it's just information overload, I just delete.

I click any offer from brands I use, even if I don't have an active plan to purchase (just in case) - especially hotel/travel offers as our domestic travel is often ad hoc. I leave any that I know for sure I won't use (e.g. MJ Bale, esims, cruises).
