thanks for this, good to know, I didn't think i did last year but pretty sure i did '24.2024 might have been the last mention here.
PS
I use Google to search AFF!
yeah me too, early July. I think maybe 24 they came in dribs and drabs so hopefully it gets added shortly.Yes. Hopefully an offer comes soon as I have a few stays lined up over Winter
I have Fredhollows $100 or more / 2k QFF pts.Usually this time of year I get some donation offers (either for cashback or extra points). This year, nothing.
Cathay $3000/$200
SQ $6500/$150
Yeah, I should have done the same. Went to cancel and realised they want to slug me a $82.50 cancellation fee. Transaction still shows as pending, so I might wait and see if I'm lucky enough to score the 25% back over the next few days. Otherwise, I'll do my sums and see if it's worth cancelling and rebooking. Either way, lesson learned.I never pre-pay AVIS.
Which worked well for a rental in NZ. Even after the 3% forex fee (I’d usually use 28° MC), I was still a decent amount of $s ahead with a similar offer that included NZ (the current one doesn’t by the looks).
are you able to call the front desk and ask them to book the cheapest pre-paid room and then get them to process the payment at the front desk to trigger the credit? Are there any work arounds to the payments required to be completed at the front desk? booking a flex room and calling the front desk to charge the room?
