My local VC shop had a few CM GCs. Bought some and received Amex email immediately. The sales assistant suggested they only sell VC and CM GCs and he was a bit disappointed I didn't want any VC ones as he had plenty of them but very few CM ones.

Offer valid to 25/02. If the 5 day lockdown really is 5 days your friend still has plenty of time. After some of the fines issued by VicPol in this pandemic I wouldn't want to be debating what is essential with them. :)
 
I (in Melbourne) got to the nearest Vintage Cellars twice on consecutive days, and bought Coles Myer gift cards across both available Amex cards. Received the confirmation email for both.

Spent last Friday (12/2), credits received today (15/2). Pretty Good :)

They have now both paid out. And I'm glad I went when I did.
 
On my Velocity Escape cards;

Save the offer to your eligible Card and get 5 bonus Velocity Points per $1 spent, in-store or in-app at participating fuel retailers by 19/05/2021, up to a maximum of 5,000 bonus Points. Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions and limits apply.

Maybe not enticing enough to get my Velocity Escape cards out of the drawer. Since VA's meltdown last year we have only been using VE cards when there is an Amex credit on offer.

On my platinum charge too
 
Nothing on Plat Charge here, but new cardholder and have never transferred to VA.

Is it common to receive offers on the Plat Charge which earn directly into a particular partner program? (or are you earning bonus MR points instead?)
