Only got this on my QF Biz card and via email (wasn’t in the new offers list) but appears in my offers after activating.

Pity though, I usually book AirBnB via QF Hotels for the bonus points. Need to check how those payments get charged?

Edit: apparently they go through as AirBnB after all. It’s been a while for me. SYD+1 usually does AirBnBs and I do the hotels.

I got this, same value, but only on the Plat primary and no supps or other accounts.

And the balance on our Christmas/New Year stay is due the day after this expires, so I've set a reminder to myself a few days earlier to request "pay now".

It's the Ampol app. I doubt you can buy gift card through it. I think it probably works like the BPMe offers.

Ah! I didn't check the details - just saw the headline - no wonder it is improved. I hope the Ampol app is better than the early iterations of the BPMe app. I have edited my post.

The recent BPMe offer was good but there are still too many petrol stations that don’t support payment through the app which is annoying. I have a feeling Ampol will have similar issues, particularly at stations that are still branded as Woolworths or EG.

Terms of the offer exclude sites that are WOW or EG, so reduces significantly the number of available sites.

Same issue as with e-GC often sold at 6-10% off via ShopBack but can be only used at Ampol branded stations.

I installed the app and can confirm that it excludes a bunch of stations most convenient for me. And that was definitely one problem with BPMe, the other being how clunky and unresponsive the app is. I'll report back if I manage to successfully pay for petrol with the Ampol app.

I hate the BPMeApp...not all BP stations have it, takes ages to connect and sometimes it doesn't....recently after getting it to connect, then realised the pump was out of order

Yeah, I've had it sign me out and then I get to the station and realise and its password reset takes forever and I just had to abandon the app and pay directly, obviating the reason for choosing that station (neither the closest nor cheapest).

I purchased a GC and the merchant shows up as "LGC*AIRBNB GIFTCARD SYDNEY". No email received. Not holding my breath for the credit for this one.
