New Amex statement credits

I found Amazon on 2 x reserve cards. Interesting that these and the 'Special' offer were both left of PC for myself and MrsMac
Same here, I find that my reserve card always seems to get better deals.. (presumably because Amex want to entice me into debt and interest payments)

The Pelago offer might be useful for me. I’m heading to Singas shortly.
Looking through the list of stuff it seems pretty good for things to do in Australia as well, I'm seeing a heap of activities for here in Sydney that I'd be interested in.

Pelago going under the radar as well, you can use it to book activities in Sydney if you don't have travel plans anytime soon. Taronga Zoo and Harbour Cruises are a start. Quite easy to use.

for those that got the amazon spend $50 get $10 back could also stack with this:

buy $75 egift card and get $10 back with amex & another $5 promo credit

I could only see Shop Small on one of my primary cards. Nothing on the rest of the primary cards in my household (including those in others' names), or on any of the supps.

Means I'll probably forget that it's there and have a few random $5 credits pop up over the next few months, rather than really go out of my way to support small businesses by maximising the offer across my whole suite of cards as I'd normally do.

It's a bit silly though - I can get $5 back by spending $25 at somewhere like McCafe over multiple transactions (via the McD offer), but to get $5 back at my local independent coffee shop that's always a Shop Small, I have to spend $50 in a single transaction only (that's a little too much coffee, even for me). The structure of these offers means that I'm more encouraged to shop with a global chain than a local small business. Wasn't the latter the whole point of Shop Small?

Shop Small is back! And it's definitely not as good as previous years. 😢
Spend $50 or More, Get $5 Back, up to 4 Times
Ozbargain site appears down fo me.

But a genuine cash back offer is welcomed, even if not showing on any of my cards

Smallshop last year was utterly useless. Was offensive to even call it smallshop. I couldn't make any use of it at all.
