New Amex statement credits

H&R Block (Spend $120 or More, Get $40 Back)

Make sure you declare your points as income folks :)

There's no exclusion for eGC at DM.
I only just bought some so it's too early to tell for me.
One thing I did notice when trying to pay - there was no "continue" or "pay now" button so pressing Enter did the trick.

I managed to buy a few in the past week or two, but they have now taken the giftcards from DM site.

Did well with the HN offer this morning, no issue splitting over three cards.

About to cash in the baby bunting vouchers we bought during the recent offer.

Same for me and the resulting eGCs have all been used up on Christmas food :).
I just checked, seems gift cards are not avaiaible, I ve used my offers already, but do you think its a system error or theyve deliberately deleted it

I wouldn't be surprised if it is deliberate and I also would not be surprised if DM eGCs become store specific in future thus negating another beneficial statement credit.

Another reason to support my decision to close all Amex accounts prior to Devaluation Day.

Can anyone confirm that they bought GCs at Luxury Escapes and received the Amex credit?

Supplementary questions;

(1). Did anyone buy Luxury Escapes GCs at HN with an Amex?
(2). If so did they receive the HN Amex credit for doing so?

I'm glad I didn't procasinate and bought the egiftcards.

I've been doing 3-4 $40 click and collect orders at a time to use up the woolies ones, I'm glad woolies has made it so easy to split the payments between egiftcard/ credit card.
My shopping was about 100.
So to take advantage of them.
I stocked up on non perishables, and split the order into 10 lots of $40.
The orders came in two trolleys so the staff didnt seem to mind

Got the full credits, woolies staff gave me a christmas gift as well.

Happy as larry

Yes I've stocked up on non perishables too but there is only so much toilet rolls one can stock before it's not worth it. I have now been ordering fruit and veg for C&C and just noting on the order for "freshest stock". So far it has worked well, they actually do pick good fruits and not ones to reduce spoilage. I have another 7 credits to use up.

Yes its well worth it since.
Toilet paper unlike alcohol is not something you consume more of just because you are stocked up :)
