I had an issue when the pump got closed automatically because I didn't start pumping gas within a minute. Took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on much to the annoyance of the dude behind me - lots of to-ing and fro-ing between the pump and inside the car.

I don't use enough fuel to max out this promo (across 6 cards) and BP is frequently a few cents dearer than others here in CBR/Queanbeyan, except at the Yass Road location which is always cheaper but doesn't have BPme (yet). Annoyingly today, the other Queanbeyan location and the one that does have BPme, didn't have any pumps with the 10% ethanol fuel.

Can't say I've had any of the problems described here, and I don't mind the process, but getting no VF points grates. A mixed bag overall. 6/10 from me.

I've been three times to 3 different BP's and the app didn't work. Used face ID to login and then I just had the wheel of death spinning endlessly. Sat at the last servo for over 5 minutes and nothing. Strangely a day later whilst nowhere near a BP I opened the app and it worked... all 3 sites accept BPme and asked the staff member when I finally just paid with my CC and she shrugged saying she didn't know of any issues. Grr

I would be happier if it loaded more quickly-it cuts into the time-saving aspect and looks odd to other customers.
I too would like the VFF points so will disable the app after the current offer

I've used the BP me app a few times.

And I'd have to say it's the second worst app I've ever see after McDonald's.

Everytime I use it and it works! I drive off into the distance like I've achieved something in my life

Hmm used it 5 times so far this run and no issues .

The last round I did it around 14 times and no issues . Just a bit slow on an older phone but all good

Do you mean 5 times / 14 times with the offer? Or just used it that many times?

I thought the current offer was restricted to first two fills >$40.

There's a "30% off selected domestic flights and 25% off selected international flights" showing on my Velocity Plat, as per the first dot point (but I suspect using AMX30 would work for all).

In the past, these types of offers nearly always result in my selected flight not being the same as VA's, but here's hoping.

FWIW, here are the T&Cs:

Perplexed you're having issues. Has worked perfectly for me.

The only "lag" for me seems to be the delay between selecting pump number on the app and pump activating. There can also be a small "processing" delay after pump returned and before it confirms you are done. Still faster than walking into the shop (especially if multiple people arrive at the same time and beat you to the front of the queue). But lack of VFF points earn means after my 2x$10 i'm back to walking into the store.

I have now completed 2x transactions and both times I have had to restart the app to get it play ball. After the fingerprint login, it just went into 'hourglassing mode' but the app restart worked.

FWIW I'm running a 2 month old iPhone 8.

Not debating the app isn't working well for you (clearly it isn't), but just demonstrating that that isn't the universal experience.

I really should have pointed out that I had no issues with the app back in December 2017. It seems slightly more problematic this time around but not enough to stop me taking advantage of the statement credits.

When the first BPme offer came out last year, I had issues with my Samsung S5 where it could not locate the service station even though Google Maps, Here, Maps.me all picked up my location fine. I then installed it on a Moto G (really old 1st gen) and have no issues. Working flawlessly albeit a bit slow. Then when I switched to a S7, still couldn't get it to work so I just used my Moto G again (didn't even update the app) and it still works fine. So if people with issues have a spare phone lying around, you might want to give that a go.

in Dec last year it worked perfectly for me.
they called me yesterday asking what was the problem im sure they are getting lots of complaints by the conversation.
