Sometimes it can be the Public Trustee who does this when a person is not able, for social/medical reasons, able to manage their finances ie an inheritance @MEL_Traveller

Also companies like MyBudget. Wonder how they will get on?

As I mentioned up thread I did this once with Amex UK (in error). My card was suspended and I had to prove I was the director/shareholder. I was then told not to do it again as it was against t&c’s.

Amex UK has had this rule for a while now.

Just got a mass email from Pay.com.au stating that Amex payments through them aren't affected by this thing.

"Why you're covered: pay.com.au is an approved Bill Payment Provider with American Express. Payments you make through us to pay off your Amex bill are not affected."

OT question: If I have an existing personal amex and apply for a business card, do points accrued from the business card transactions save to your existing Rewards account or to a new account? If the latter then how do you redeem to airline seats? e.g. Would points need to transfer to your QF business or VA business acct?

Depends on the Biz card you select.

QBR AMEX points go direct to the QBR account, where you can either book award seats direct or transfer to your personal account.

My old AMEX Small Biz CC (now retired) went to my personal FF account. I miss that card but the 170k sign up bonus for QBR has already landed!

I am holding off completing application for Business Gold Plus whilst I have a NAB application going. The Business Gold Plus has permanent half price annual fee attached ($195 annual instead of $395)
