Hello! Have not been on the forum in a very hot minute, however new work role requires a fair amount of travel (including international), so here I am back again.

Travelled a lot pre-kids & covid. Then only the annual family trip to see wife’s family overseas. Lot more work travel coming up in so dusting off the account as I can swing economy or maybe PE but I don’t organisationally rank flying in the pointy end of the plane on the work credit card (which comes out of my own budget).

Have decades of experience with Japan and group travel. Will be coming here for destination tips as I gear up into series of work trips while international education picks up again. Happy to share any advice I can offer on:
- Japan (solo/as an adult/with small children)
- Logistics of group (20-30+) travel
- School/group travel with minors
- Ultra light travel

Gotta be 10+ years, since I moved up to Cairns in 2011. Moved back during the plague years at the start of 2021.
I remember you used to go to CNS every so often for the weekend.

And now @Mal , you and me have kids. Who would have thought.

Good luck woth your new role. My life has certainly changed heaps. Not much travel and focus on the little one.
