Hi All,
the time has come for the Colster clan to go and roam around Europe for a month. Starting in Spain and going through Italy France and the UK. I am wondering about recent experiences with prepaid voice and data sims across the continent and if anyone can recommend a good provider. As my Spanish is merde and we will be starting in BCN, a provider that has English website for top ups etc would be good as well. All advice is appreciated.

muchos gracias

Do you happen to know if you can buy one in transit at LHR T3?

These guys seem to sell 3 sim cards Buy UK Sim Cards for all the top networks | Sim Local - SIMLocal
Locations: Locations and Opening Hours for Sim Local Heathrow - SIMLocal Also seems you can buy them online. However they must be activated in the UK

With the 3 sim card you need to activate it within the UK and it stops working after 30 day, (number still works but cant call or txt and cant recharge unless in the UK)
This is by fair the best option, all you pay is 15 pounds and u have 25gig of data while roaming. txt and calls you can also use the cap allowances. you can get away without usingI only used the data most due to whatapp etc.

If this doesnt suit Lebra is meant to be good, can recharge in spain and most euro countries, but it charges per mb and txt/call

I only see 10 or 20 pounds now. But I'm finding it hard to see what their data roaming charges are (EU, not "roam like home" countries).
