Has anyone actually paid for the My Resort Glass? Saw the flyer at the Mercure Gold Coast - $32 per guest per day.
"A selection of soft drinks and juice throughout the day, plus, beer, wine and coughtails in the evening."
I'm wondering how popular this actually is...

We have it a big miss in Vietnam and Siem Reap. It didn't represent value. You can get a 50cent etc beer anywhere else. It would probably be cost effective in Europe, Byron Bay or Twin Water resorts. However the price will be relative to quality of those properties.

Think you will find it is only for a 2 hour period of your choice and not 'throughout the day'. We took advantage of this at Twin Waters and the bar staff were too slow and could not keep up with our drink requests...

Off topic. Stayed there twice and the understaffing at the was obvious on both visits. Their turnover would have doubled if they were prompt.

We tried it at Twin Waters in November and had the same problem. We were lucky to get 2 drinks and hour and the selection was awful. We stayed on the vodka orange coughtails trying to get our monies worth. You do have access to soft drink all day and the manager never did get back to me to see if coffee was included. If you are a coffee drinker try and organise management ok and you might come out ahead cost wise.

But we also used the my resort kids package and I would say you get value there. $25 and there were given a toy each morning and endless food and drink. I had a few kids lose their wrist bands though so I wish they had a better system there. My toddler refused to put on his wrist band.

The buffet restaurant is disgusting and overpriced and the only place on site the accor plus card is valid. Also you spend most of your time avoiding the accor timeshare jerks. Its a shame because the place has so much potential, but something must he wrong with upper management cause the staff, as much as they try and hide it seem to hate their jobs.
