I have a Circle Pacific trip coming up, booked via my TA on QF paper (I think that's the correct expression).
Looking on 'Manage Your Booking', I notice that the sectors are grouped as follows:
"Flight 1"
HBA-MEL (QF)
MEL-LAX (QF)
LAX-LAS (AA)
with a duration of 35 hrs
"Flight 2"
YYC-YVR (on Air Canada- separate ticket)
YVR-HKG (CX)
HKG-KUL (CX)
with a duration of 39h 30m
"Flight 3"
KUL-SIN (MH)
SIN-MEL (QF)
MEL-HBA (JQ cs QF)
with a duration of 16h 25m
Just wondering if anyone can say why MYB would have grouped the various sectors into these 'flights'. The only thing I can think of is that they are the 3 gross 'legs' of Out from Australia, Nth America to Asia (furthest point). Return to Australia, but if the individual flights are there, why group them and label the groups 'Flight 1/2/3' etc? Also, Circle Pacific fares aren't sector denominated like this.
