Weirdest experience. Remember those heady days of parity when we could and did buy at ease from US and use a shipping service, in my case , MyUS?

I haven’t used them for so long but still had an address inbox. A few days ago I received an email saying they’d received my parcel and had to do an inspection. I junked it as spam.

Today I get text and email saying the parcel had been released and was ready to ship 🤷‍♀️. Not using that link but logged in separately and there was a parcel. From QVC. Addressed to me. Their pictures showed it as Gel Laquer. 😱. The address in my us was one from four years ago. Thankfully I’d disconnected myus subscription from my PayPal account years ago direct with Paypal so their inspection fee isn’t paid and on my us I chatted and account closed and goods destroyed. But how did this happen?

Guessing someone fat-fingered their suite number. Don't think they look at the name.

I still use it for time to time, not for cheaper prices but if I need something not sold here. I'm on a free subscription so no ongoing fees, I joined up ages ago. They don't offer my plan anymore to new customers.

I'd agree but the shipping label on the parcel had my name on it! They had taken pictures. Truly bizarre. If it was something I'd buy it would be worth the shipping 🤭 as I haven't paid for anything. But alas, it isn't. I've checked all my credit cards and there's just nothing there. Mine is free too, I hit it bad around 2010.

Instead of ignoring, better keep a close eye on both the forwarding service and credit card & PayPal for a while. Though, if Pushka closed the account, that'd be of a lesser concern from here on but any delayed charges might still pop up.
