Multiple Marketing emails

I mentioned this is another thread but for the past couple of weeks I’m getting multiple emails a day from Qantas marketing various products. Four in the last five hours.

If I opt out will this mean I miss the important ones like DSC’s. It’s getting ridiculous.

When you go to opt-out you should be able to select which products you want emails for.

I've opted out of the Money and Insurance product emails in the past because I was getting too many.

But I use Gmail for business so all promo emails go into my Promotions tab and I get hundreds of promo emails a day, so it doesn't really bother me. I only look in that inbox when I have spare time.

Don't opt out as you'll end up missing important ones.

I use my email address for 4 accounts and I'm getting constant spam each day. Open email and delete.

I know but I think I’ve opted out of a couple of specific ones like money and sport. We will see.

Well that didn’t work. I’ve unsubscribed from all but flights and just got another one for RM Williams clothing.

Best is just to delete.
Don't block, as you might get that winky special fare you are just waiting for, and could kick yourself up the bum for missing it, or you might miss that 18 months times up before points are wiped off your QFF account.
As above have mentioned, its impossible to opt out of the glah, and only get what you are interested in.
OT: (RE: spam), just you wait till the next Aust fed election is called, then we will start to get them all, and political parties can bypass the do not call register, ...

The Points Expiry emails you'll still receive, they are treated more as service comms rather than marketing.

In regards to the time of day and frequency, leave them - the new... "decision maker" behind the targeting will soon learn your optimal tolerance levels and when you will receive them.

I changed my email address with them last week and it took a few days before the emails started coming to the right address so I suspect it might take a few days to settle down
