Lately the QF website seems to have some significant issues in retaining search parameters, like if your search fails it resets all the places, dates, pax etc. back to default, rather then give you a chance to tweak it.

Is this a common issue now?

"QF website" and "significant issues" go hand in hand, unfortunately.

Even if I don't get an error, the website never saves my destinations in the multi-city tool.

A massive pain. Any solutions out there?

Yes!! and very annoying too.

Also, sometimes you can't add enough sectors to cover your trip - I live in CBR and so always need to connect to either SYD or MEL for an international flight and it often refuses to allow either the first connection or the last - and sometimes both - and requires a call to the call centre to fix it. Not likely these days that it would actually be fixed. So very annoying.

Agreed it's annoying, searching for OWA has given me RSI from the amount of times I have typed PER
