Weird issue here that's preventing me from booking a OWCA.

My last two flights are GMP-HND and HND-MEL. I'm looking at 1/6/2023:

If I book both flights in J on 1/6 (JL92 and QF80) I get an error on the final payment page of "We are unable to confirm your selected flights" (15079 - 23951 - 420),

If I book JL92 in J and QF80 in Y, the booking goes through.

If I book JL92 on 31/5 and then on 1/6 I book QF80 in J, the booking goes through.

So the flight is available but I just can't book both flights the same day in J. Any ideas on how to resolve? At this stage I'm considering booking both flights in J on different days and then trying to change the dates after ticketing, but I think that's a risky decision.

Thanks
