Of course I can book economy domestic multi-city online for cash.
But I can't using points.

So do you book 2x one-ways (it invalidates my credit-card insurance because there's no "destination") on the website.
Or do you call-in and book the multi-city through the call centre (and potentially pay the $35, even as a VA Platinum)

What would you do?

What is the route?
I'm not sure how there is no destination. Do awards qualify for credit-card insurance anyway?

Multi city is domestic only, I can't see why credit card insurance is such a big deal for domestic flights. I'd probably book 2 one way flights, subject to the route required.
